Mühlthal station, Railway station in Starnberg, Germany

The station building features unplastered brickwork construction with a shallow hipped roof and an attic floor containing small round windows.

The Royal Bavarian State Railways inaugurated this station on September 16, 1854, as a temporary terminus for trains arriving from Munich.

The station building, designed by Friedrich Bürklein in Maximilian style, stands as a protected monument of architectural heritage in Bavaria.

The station operated until December 2004, primarily serving hikers and visitors to nearby establishments before its platforms were removed in October 2020.

The station gained media exposure when it appeared in the first episode of the television series Derrick, broadcast on October 20, 1974.
