Psychiatrie-Museum Philippshospital

The Philippshospital Psychiatry Museum exhibits documents, instruments, and artifacts related to psychiatric care from the 16th century to modern times.

Located in Building 8 of the complex, visitors can schedule guided tours through email or telephone contact with the museum administration.

The museum displays a hospital chest from 1620 with an intricate locking mechanism that stored cash funds until the early 19th century.
