Stadtkirche Unser lieben Frauen

Stadtkirche Unser lieben Frauen is a Gothic church with three naves, four bays, and an unusual twelve-sided choir featuring intricate ribbed vault patterns. The interior is dominated by the Friedrich Ladegast organ from 1880, which was expanded in 2009 and showcases the craftsmanship of its maker.

The church was first documented in 1303 and experienced a turning point after a fire in 1450, with only the sacristy surviving the disaster unchanged. The subsequent reconstruction shaped the building for centuries to come.
