Rathaus

The Rathaus is a three-story natural stone building with Renaissance gables located in the center of Marktbreit. It features characteristic architectural details of the Renaissance period and serves as the town's main administrative structure.

Hans Kesenbrod directed the construction of this Renaissance building from 1579 to 1581, marking a period of architectural progress in Bavaria. The building's creation reflected Marktbreit's growth and economic development during that era.

The Rathaus holds designation D-6-75-147-50 in the Bavarian monument register, representing the municipal administration traditions of southern German towns.
