Weißes Schloss, Heritage castle in Heroldsberg, Germany
The Weißes Schloss stands as a three-story structure with a pitched roof and features an octagonal staircase tower with a tent-shaped covering.
Built by the Geuder patrician family from Nuremberg in 1471, the castle underwent reconstruction after a fire in 1587 and received its staircase tower in 1702.
The castle functions as a museum displaying local history and art exhibitions, featuring permanent collections that showcase the works of artist Fritz Griebel.
The second floor contains a ceremonial hall used for weddings, while the entire building serves as a venue for various cultural events and exhibitions.
The castle operated as the town hall of Heroldsberg until 2005, when municipal functions moved to a new building near the train station.
