Burg Eggersberg, Medieval castle ruins in Riedenburg, Germany
The stone remnants of Burg Eggersberg stand on a limestone cliff 440 meters above sea level, featuring sections of walls and a rounded moat.
First documented in 1326 as Feste Eggersberg, the castle suffered destruction during the Löwler War of 1491 and underwent final demolition in 1613.
