Hutzlerhaus

Hutzlerhaus is a residential building with a half-timbered facade in Feucht that now serves as a museum, library, and protected architectural monument. Inside, multiple exhibition rooms contain regional artifacts and collections spanning different periods of local history.

The building was constructed in the 17th century as part of the Pfinzingschloss estate. Over time it transformed from a tenement house into a farm with distillery operations.

The beekeeping collection inside showcases original tools and equipment that reveal how important this craft was to local people over centuries. Visitors can see the actual hives, smokers, and honey processing devices that families used in daily work.

Access and visiting depend on opening times and special events throughout the year. It is helpful to check ahead since hours and special tours may vary depending on the season.

The building houses the Zeidlermuseum, which is entirely dedicated to the history and craft of beekeeping in the region. This specialized collection is quite rare and provides deep insight into an almost forgotten trade.
