Burg Friedeburg

Burg Friedeburg is a castle in Gerbstedt with remnants of a Bergfried tower and additional buildings scattered across the grounds. The site in Saxony-Anhalt displays architectural features from different periods of construction.

The site originated as a fortress in the 13th century and was converted into a residential castle around 1510. This transformation reflects the shift from military defense to residential use.
