St. Georg, Heritage parish church in Gohlis, Leipzig, Germany
The St. Georg church stands with its 13.3-meter central tower and features a flat vaulted basilica layout with cross wing extensions.
The foundation stone was laid in September 1922, following a substantial donation of 300,000 marks from Bishop Christian Schreiber to enable construction.
The church incorporates artistic elements commissioned by the Academic Bonifatius Union in 1928, including works from artists Jupp Rübsam and Josef Daniel Sommer.

The building functions as an Akademiker-Gedächtniskirche, memorializing Catholic academics who perished during the First World War.
