After World War II, more than 70 families from the Wolhynia region arrived in Linstow in 1945 following displacement from Eastern Europe. This house was among the first structures they built and remains a key landmark of their settlement.

The museum preserves objects and documents that reflect how relocated families rebuilt their lives in this rural community after leaving their homeland. Visitors can see personal items and photographs showing the daily reality of this resettlement process.

The museum operates during warmer months with limited weekend hours and closes or operates less frequently in winter. Check opening times in advance as the schedule varies by season.
