DDR-Museum Dargen / Usedom

The DDR Museum Dargen spans 1,500 square meters and displays an extensive collection of East German vehicles, electronics, and household appliances from the GDR period.

Founded in 1997 by motorcycle enthusiasts, the museum occupies a former agricultural trading cooperative site and contains numerous restored vehicles from the German Democratic Republic.

The museum collection includes vintage motorcycles, tractors, military equipment, ambulances, passenger cars, and fire trucks that represent East German manufacturing and engineering.

The museum operates from April through September, Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 17:00, and October through November with reduced hours from 10:00 to 15:00.

The museum restaurant seats 40 people and serves traditional East German dishes along with homemade cakes, enhancing the historical experience.
