Rathaus Reinickendorf, Administrative building in Wittenau, Berlin, Germany.

Rathaus Reinickendorf is a town hall in Wittenau that showcases Dutch neo-baroque architectural details in its facade and layout. Rising about 55 meters, it contains district government offices and service centers for civil registration and administrative permits.

This town hall was built in 1911 following designs by architect Fritz Beyer for the Wittenau municipality. After World War II, it underwent expansion from 1950 to 1957 to accommodate the growing administrative needs of the district.

The Ernst-Reuter concert hall added during the 1950s expansion serves as a venue where residents gather for performances and community events. This space shows how the building functions as more than just an administrative center.

You can view the building and its facade from the outside on Antonyplatz, which provides space to walk around and observe the architecture. Access to the interior is typically available during special events like concerts in the Ernst-Reuter hall, so check ahead for any scheduled programs.

Antonyplatz, where the town hall stands, takes its name from a saint rather than a historical figure of the district. This unusual naming gives the central square an unexpected spiritual connection.
