Museum Obere Saline, Historical salt production museum in Bad Kissingen, Germany.
The Museum Obere Saline occupies a former salt production building with five distinct sections covering salt manufacturing, local history, and toy collections.
From 1876 to 1893, German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck regularly stayed in this building during his health treatments at Bad Kissingen.
The museum displays traditional handmade toys from the Rhön region alongside international pieces in its dedicated toy department on the top floor.
The museum contains 1,400 square meters of exhibition space and receives approximately 19,600 visitors annually through its educational programs and guided tours.
Visitors can examine personal items in Bismarck's original living quarters, including his measuring scale and other private possessions.
