The medieval church dedicated to Saint Magnus retains its original choir tower from the 13th century as the sole remaining element from that period.
Two late Gothic carved altars created in the tradition of Lucas Cranach the Elder represent essential elements of the church interior decoration.
The church contains a three-manual organ built in 1851 by Friedrich Ladegast, which underwent restoration by Schönefeld company from Stadtilm in 2005.
The vault of the choir tower displays distinctive Renaissance period paintings that represent specific artistic techniques of that era.
