Schloss Wengwies, Architectural heritage monument in Eschenlohe, Germany.
The castle features multiple stepped gables, bay windows, and a prominent tower within its plastered structure, following early 20th-century historical architecture principles.
Built in 1902 by architects Albert Jack and Max Wanner, the castle replaced two original farms that existed on the site since 1335.
The property became the residence of textile entrepreneur Fritz Rechberg after World War I and continues under Rechberg family ownership today.
The castle maintains its designation number D-1-80-114-17 in the Bavarian monument registry and stands at coordinates 47.592414, 11.215786.
Arnold Rechberg, a sculptor and political writer, resided in the castle and contributed to its status as both an artistic and intellectual center.
