Störtebeker-Haus, Modern office building in Hamm district, Hamburg, Germany.
The Störtebeker-Haus features a brick facade that incorporates traditional Hanseatic architectural elements alongside three grand staircases and contemporary design features.
Built in 2004, the building was commissioned by Achim Becker to create an architectural landmark in Hamburg's Hamm district, which suffered extensive damage during World War II.
The structure includes stained glass windows, wind rose mosaics, and Art Nouveau ornaments that reference Hamburg's maritime heritage and Hanseatic trading history.
Located at Süderstraße 282, the building offers office spaces, event venues including the Störtebeker Hall for 140 people, and indoor courtyard parking facilities.
The building integrates a bell carriage displaying ships and Victual Brothers, commemorating the medieval privateer Klaus Störtebeker in contemporary architecture.
