Schloss Trebnitz

Schloss Trebnitz is a château with baroque elements that was expanded through two side wings, displaying classical castle architecture. The building sits within a large park with natural pathways and open spaces in English landscape style.

The estate was first mentioned in 1224 and belonged at that time to the Lebus territory under Silesian princes. Over the centuries it changed hands several times before taking its present form.

The château serves today as a meeting place where people from different countries gather to connect with each other. The buildings and grounds have become spaces for learning and international cooperation.

The château is located at Platz der Jugend 6 in Müncheberg OT Trebnitz and is easy to find from the outside. Visitors should gather information in advance, as the grounds are used for various educational programs and may not always be freely accessible.

On the castle grounds is the Gustav Seitz Museum, which displays works by the well-known sculptor. Art lovers can see here a permanent collection that documents this artist's work.
