Talaue

Talaue is a recreational park that stretches along the Rems River, featuring open meadows, walking paths, playgrounds, and spaces designed for different outdoor activities. The site includes a skate bowl, swimming pool with an outdoor section, mini-golf course, and a Kneipp water therapy basin.

The park became part of the Remstalgartenschau in 2019, a regional initiative that involved 60 municipalities along the Rems River. This event represented a key moment in the park's modern development and enhancement.

An information center dedicated to bees offers visitors insights into local beekeeping practices and the role of pollinators in maintaining healthy ecosystems. This educational space connects everyday nature observation with practical knowledge about sustainable practices.

The park is easy to access with clearly marked paths for different activities, from walking to sports. It is best visited during dry weather to enjoy all outdoor facilities to the fullest.

Scottish Highland cattle graze in the park and naturally help maintain the grasslands through their grazing. This animal-based land management approach is something visitors can witness firsthand during their visit.
