Stadtkirche Balingen

Stadtkirche Balingen is a late Gothic building with an octagonal tower standing at the town's Market Square within the former city walls. The structure features a broad interior hall with tall windows that fill the space with natural light.

The building was constructed in 1443 as a Gothic hall church and grew out of an earlier St. Nicholas Chapel first mentioned in the 14th century. This expansion shows how religious life in the town developed across centuries.
