Siemenshaus, Commercial building near Wiener Platz, Dresden, Germany
The Siemenshaus features a rectangular structure with four stories and an attic, constructed with industrial architectural elements from the 1930s period.
Built in 1936 as a Siemens branch office, the building survived World War II bombing raids and later served as a state-owned electrical engineering facility.
The structure represents the industrial development of Dresden, marking the transition from private enterprise through nationalization to modern commercial use.
The building contains 3,500 square meters of office space and stands near Dresden Central Station, making it accessible for business operations.
The renovation project in 2022 preserved the original structure while integrating modern office facilities, contrary to initial plans for demolition.
