Siemenshaus

The Siemenshaus is an administrative building in Dresden with four stories and an attic level. Its rectangular form displays industrial architectural features typical of the 1930s with clean lines and functional design.

The building was constructed in 1936 as a branch office for the Siemens company. After World War II it became state property and later served different technical enterprises.

The building takes its name from the Siemens company that operated here for decades. It shows how important electrical engineering became to Dresden's economy during the early 1900s.

The building is located near Dresden Central Station and is therefore easy to reach. The location works well for business purposes and sits in a central part of the city.

The 2022 renovation preserved the building's original structure while modern office equipment was integrated inside. This was unexpected because demolition had been planned initially.
