Panthessaliko Stadium is a football venue in Nea Ionia with four stands arranged around an athletics track. Three of the stands feature two tiers, while a metal roof covers the main section to shield spectators from the elements.
This venue was built between 2002 and 2004 and hosted football matches during the 2004 Summer Olympics. The construction was undertaken specifically to support the international athletic competitions.
