Olympiaki Akti, Beach settlement of Olympian Riviera in Katerini Municipality, Greece

Olympiaki Akti is a coastal settlement with a broad sandy beach along the Thermaic Gulf, situated south of Thessaloniki. The shoreline features shallow bathing areas and clear water views, while modest restaurants and guesthouses line the area.

The settlement was originally called Katerinoskala, literally "Katerini's staircase", and served as a small fishing harbour village. It has been part of the municipality of Katerini since 1981, when it was incorporated, and it gradually developed into a tourist destination. The 2021 census recorded 236 inhabitants.

The village is still known locally as Katerinoskala, "Katerini's staircase", its name before it became Olympiaki Akti. In summer the seafront fills with cafes, tavernas and shops, and a 3.4 km promenade links it with Paralia; a small tourist train, buses and taxis also run between the two. A pedestrian zone runs through the centre.

The beach lies about 8 kilometers south of Katerini and is easily reached by car or bus. Parking is available near the shore, and the water is warmest from June through September.

The beach holds the EU Blue Flag for its entire sandy coastline. In some parts of the tourist season many jellyfish appear, but they are mostly blue and not dangerous. The resort is still known locally by its first name, Katerinoskala, meaning "Katerini's staircase".
