Panagia Argokoiliotisa Church

Panagia Argokoiliotisa Church is an Orthodox place of worship in Naxos featuring a three-aisled basilica with a central dome and sculptured bell tower that rises above the surrounding terrain. The structure's architectural arrangement creates a defined religious space within the village landscape.

Construction of this church began in 1835 following the discovery of two Byzantine icons by a villager during excavation work in the area. This religious find motivated the establishment of the building at this location.
