Joué-lès-Tours, Administrative commune in Centre-Val de Loire, France
Joué-lès-Tours extends over 133 square kilometers in the Indre-et-Loire department, adjacent to the southwestern border of Tours metropolitan area.
The settlement originated in the 6th century under the name Gaudiacus, derived from the Christian name Gaudius combined with the Gallo-Roman suffix -ACU.
The municipality maintains five colleges, seventeen schools, and five high schools, including notable institutions such as College Beaulieu and Lycee Jean Monnet.
