The garden spans over seven hectares, featuring five main greenhouses housing tropical plants, succulents, and rare botanical species from around the world.
The garden originated in 1761 under Louis XV's order, while the current greenhouses were constructed between 1895 and 1898 by architect Jean-Camille Formigé.
The garden serves as a crucial component of Paris's botanical network, preserving thousands of plant species and contributing to botanical research and education.
Located near Porte d'Auteuil metro station on line 10, the garden welcomes visitors daily from 8 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and 9 AM to 8 PM on weekends.
The garden maintains a collection of 230 exceptional trees, including specimens of Ginkgo biloba and magnolia grandiflora with remarkably large white flowers.
