The Tuileries Garden is a large public park located between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde in the 1st arrondissement of Paris.
Created by Catherine de Medici as the garden of the Tuileries Palace in 1564, it was first opened to the public in 1667, and became a public park after the French Revolution.
The garden hosts several cultural events throughout the year, including open-air concerts and art exhibitions.
It's open daily and admission is free.
The garden houses two museums: the Musée de l'Orangerie, known for its collection of impressionist and post-impressionist masterpieces, and the Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume, a contemporary art museum.
