Bucquoy

Bucquoy is a small rural commune in the Pas-de-Calais region south of Arras. The settlement spreads across rolling terrain with varying elevations and is crossed by regional roads.

The territory was long ruled by the Lords of Bucquoy before becoming a county in 1666. World War I left deep marks on the landscape and led to the reconstruction of many structures.

The Church of St. Pierre shapes the heart of the village with its post-war construction. It shows how the community rebuilt itself after the destruction of World War I.
