Notre Dame des Cyclistes

Notre Dame des Cyclistes is a Romanesque chapel in Labastide-d'Armagnac devoted entirely to cycling. The building features a distinctive decorated entrance and holds over 700 professional cycling jerseys along with vintage bicycles and competition trophies.

The chapel was built in the 14th century and suffered severe damage in 1569 before being restored over subsequent centuries. It transformed in the mid-20th century into a symbol linking religion and cycling when devoted to the sport.

The chapel honors cycling through its collection of athlete memorabilia that spans generations of the sport. Visitors can observe how the community has integrated this passion into a sacred space, creating a place where sport and spirituality meet.
