Château d'Abbans-Dessus

Château d'Abbans-Dessus is a medieval fortress located in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region with four circular towers and thick stone walls enclosing a central courtyard. A rectangular keep rises above the compound as the main defensive structure.

The fortress came under the control of the influential Jouffroy family during the Middle Ages, who shaped its development over centuries. It received official protection as a classified French monument in the 20th century.
