Golf Barrière de Deauville

Golf Barrière de Deauville is a 27-hole course split into two layouts that serve different skill levels and preferences. The layout includes spaces for both championship play and practice, with dedicated training areas beside the main fairways.

This course opened in 1929 on land where a castle once stood centuries before. A British architect designed the original layout, adapting it to the historic grounds.

The golf course regularly hosts the Lacoste Ladies Open de France tournament, bringing together the top European female golf players.

The practice area offers both covered and open bays for warming up, along with greens and sand traps for skill drills. Everything you need to prepare before heading out to play is available on site.

The final holes offer views across the bay toward the coast, and players can spot remnants of the former castle structure while moving through the middle section. These traces of the past create an unusual backdrop for a modern golf game.
