Golf Barrière de Saint-Julien

This golf facility features two separate courses: Le Vallon covers 6,035 meters while Le Bocage spans 2,258 meters across Normandy terrain. The grounds include 50 driving range stations split between 20 covered and 30 open-air bays, plus dedicated practice areas for putting and bunker play.

The course was designed in 1989 by architects Alain Pratt and Bill Baker, who brought British golf traditions to the Pays d'Auge setting. The Barrière name reflects its connection to an established French hospitality group.

The clubhouse brings together Norman design with exposed timber beams and a working cider press that serves locally made apple products. This reflects the region's long tradition of orchards and traditional production methods.

The facility is accessible and well-marked between different zones for easy navigation. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes as the rolling terrain requires steady walking throughout the grounds.

Holes 12, 13, and 14 of the Le Vallon course wind through the Touques valley with challenging water hazards that test technical skill. These sections stand out as memorable playing moments for golfers.
