Chapelle de Walcourt

Chapelle de Walcourt is a chapel with a square external form and a circular interior chamber, built entirely with blue stone extracted from local Givet quarries. The structure stands along Route de Philippeville with its distinctive geometry remaining visible today.

This chapel was first built in 1602 and underwent major reconstruction work in 1781 under the direction of Toupet des Vignes. A blessing ceremony in September 1784 marked the completion of the renovation project.
