Château de Fleurigny

The castle stands on an island surrounded by water, with a large pond bordering the inner courtyard and stone walls featuring sandstone exterior.

First mentioned in the mid-13th century, the castle belonged to Érard de Brienne before being sold to the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem.

The main building contains a Guards Room with a large fireplace and a cabinet decorated with 17th-century paintings depicting castle and country life.

Group visits for 15 to 40 people require advance reservations, while individual visits occur on the last Sunday of July and during heritage days.

The castle includes a circular vegetable garden, an old seigniorial farm turned equestrian center, and a 19th-century sepulchral chapel.
