Château de Lardimalie, Historical castle in Saint-Pierre-de-Chignac, France

Château de Lardimalie features a central pavilion connected to two wings, each ending with a projecting pavilion, and a turret linking the central pavilion to the north.

The present castle replaced a medieval fortress that served as a noble stronghold during the Hundred Years War before its reconstruction in the 19th century.

The grand salon displays oak paneling in Louis XII style, while the small salon presents ceiling paintings illustrating La Fontaine's fables.

The facades, roofs, and several rooms of the castle received protection as a historical monument since November 9, 1984.

The study room stands out with its Cordovan leather walls and ceiling decorated with maritime and industrial patterns.
