Château de Lardimalie

Château de Lardimalie is a castle featuring a central pavilion flanked by two wings, each ending with a projecting pavilion, and a tower connecting the central section to the northern side. The layout creates a formal composition with symmetrical elements that define the building's overall shape.

This castle replaced a medieval fortress that served as a noble stronghold during the Hundred Years War, before being reconstructed in the 19th century. The rebuilding marked a shift from military to residential architecture designed for comfort rather than defense.

The main salon displays oak paneling in the Louis XII style, while the secondary salon shows ceiling frescoes depicting scenes from La Fontaine's fables.
