Château d'Eliçabéa, Classical castle in Trois-Villes, France.
The castle features a main facade with mullioned windows in gray marble frames, flanked by two projecting sections on a terrace above the Saison River.
Construction of the castle took place from 1660 to 1663 under Jean-Armand du Peyrer, Comte de Tréville, a commander in Louis XIII's musketeer company.
The castle gained literary recognition through its connection to Alexandre Dumas's novel 'Les Trois Mousquetaires', where the owner appears as M. de Tréville.
The property includes six hectares of English-style park grounds, with formal gardens, a pond, and an ornamental dovecote protected by heritage status.
The windows throughout the structure incorporate gray marble frames topped with alternating circular and triangular pediments, creating a distinctive architectural pattern.
