Château de Ragny, Medieval castle in Savigny-en-Terre-Plaine, France.

The fortress extends across multiple buildings supported by circular towers and connects to a bridge spanning wide moats around the structure.

The castle originated in the 12th century as a military fortress and served as the principal fief for the lords of Ragny until the medieval period.

From 1960 to 2021, the castle transformed from a center for the Bank of Algeria to a Bank of France vacation facility, marking changing social functions.

The castle complex includes three main buildings arranged in a single wing, positioned to the right when entering through the court of honor.

The structure retains an arcade gallery from the late 12th century, the sole remaining element of the original medieval construction period.
