Château de Barasc, Medieval heritage monument in Béduer, France.

The castle features two-meter-thick walls and a twenty-five-meter rectangular keep that overlooks the Célé Valley from its elevated position.

In 1277, the Barasc family granted one of the first charters in France to Béduer inhabitants, reducing certain feudal obligations.

The 17th-century painted ceiling and 15th-century fireplace in the Great Hall represent notable architectural elements of different periods.

The castle offers rentals for private events with a capacity of one hundred fifty people for cocktail receptions in the Great Hall.

The keep walls, built in 1204, form the oldest part of the castle and demonstrate its medieval defensive origin.
