Located 25 kilometers east of Soissons and 30 kilometers northwest of Rheims, the castle ruins are accessible via National Route N31.
Archaeological findings from 1859 revealed a villa with mosaics at this location, indicating the presence of wealthy Gallo-Roman residents.
