The Château de Fayet features a rectangular main building with two towers and additional wings forming a U-shaped architectural layout.

Built in the 16th century by the Castelnau-Bretenoux family, the castle received King Henri IV during his stay in the region.

The interior salons display painted ceilings and decorative plasterwork fireplaces that represent Renaissance period craftsmanship.

The castle remains a private property and does not allow public access to its grounds or interior spaces.

The castle features a monumental sculpted well from 1564 with coat of arms, which received historical monument designation in 1931.
