Ferme de la forêt

The main building features a wooden gallery accessed by an external staircase and a traditional chimney that extends through both floors to the roof.

The farm, built during the second half of the 16th century, was converted into a museum of rural life in the Bresse region in 1971.

Inside the museum, visitors find collections of antique farming tools and furniture that demonstrate traditional agricultural methods of the Bresse region.

The museum welcomes visitors from June to September, every day except Mondays, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

The Saracen chimney, made of wood and clay, represents a technical achievement in traditional regional construction methods.
