The private mansion, located at the intersection of Rue de la Tour-des-Dames and Rue La Rochefoucauld, exhibits architectural features from the early 19th century.
The building, designed by architect Louis Visconti in 1820, was commissioned by Marshal Laurent de Gouvion-Saint-Cyr before being sold to Mademoiselle Mars in 1824.
The facades, roof, handmade wallpapers, and ornamental stucco columns were restored using traditional methods during a renovation project in 1985.

The entrance hall of the building underwent complete rehabilitation, maintaining the original 19th-century architectural elements.
