The Notre-Dame de Lavasina church stands on the eastern coast of Corsica, featuring traditional religious architecture and a prominent bell tower.

The church gained recognition in 1675 when Sister Marie-Agnes from Bonifacio experienced a healing event that transformed the chapel into a celebrated church.

The church holds annual celebrations every September 8th since 1677, gathering local communities and pilgrims from various parts of Corsica.

Visitors can reach the church through the main road connecting Bastia to Cap Corse, with several hotels located within walking distance.

The interior contains a sacred painting of the Virgin, whose lamp oil became associated with reported healing properties during the 17th century.
