Le Manoir de Paris, Haunted house in 10th arrondissement, Paris, France
Le Manoir de Paris is a haunted house attraction in the 10th arrondissement spread across two floors with 23 rooms designed for interactive experiences with professional actors and special effects. Each room is configured to immerse visitors in different scenes from Parisian legends.
The building was established in 1889 as Choisy-le-Roi ceramics workshops by Hyppolyte Boulenger and received historical monument status in 1981. Following this recognition, the structure was later transformed into a visitor attraction.
The manor presents theatrical interpretations of Parisian legends from the 18th to 20th centuries, including stories about the Catacombs and Notre-Dame. Visitors encounter these tales through interactions with actors who inhabit the rooms.
Visitors can select from five different fear levels and should book tickets in advance, especially during weekends and peak seasons. The interactive nature of the experience means you will actively engage with the environment and performers.
The manor employs around 20 trained actors in costume alongside three animatronic figures, including a gargoyle at the entrance and a rabid dog. This combination of live performance and mechanical effects creates a layered experience of different scares.
