Nigloland is a family amusement park in Dolancourt in northeastern France with four themed areas. The facility offers rides for different age groups and several dining areas.
The Gélis brothers opened the grounds in June 1987 after several years of planning. They expanded the facility steadily with new rides and themed sections.
The hedgehog serves as the mascot for the facility and appears as a friendly character throughout the grounds. This figure meets families at different points during their visit.
Access is through the main entrance, from which the themed areas extend in different directions. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes as the grounds require several hours of walking.
A wooden roller coaster built in 2014 was constructed entirely from timber and follows a winding route through wooded terrain. The ride moves through trees and provides rapid changes of direction.
