Patinoire de Mériadeck

The Patinoire de Mériadeck is an ice rink located in Bordeaux's business district with a distinctive copper-tiled roof and steel frame structure. Inside are two ice skating surfaces designed for both recreational skating and competitive ice hockey matches.

Construction began in 1979 and the venue opened to the public in 1982 as a modern sports facility. It was initially designed to serve multiple purposes beyond ice skating alone.

Before transitioning to focus solely on sports in 2017, the venue hosted performances by numerous international artists while maintaining its primary function as an ice sports center.
