Relais de poste à chevaux de Launois-sur-Vence

The station consists of multiple buildings including stables, carriage halls, lodgings, and granaries arranged around a central courtyard.

Established in 1654, this station served as a key point on the route between Paris and Sedan, operating day and night for travelers and mail delivery.

The property currently hosts monthly local markets, seasonal festivals, and events dedicated to preserving the heritage of Ardennes draft horses.

Guided tours are available year-round through the Tourist Office, with special rates for groups. The Les Sabots du Relais association offers various carriage rides departing from the post relay and promotes the Ardennes draft horse.

The station features an observation post above the north gate where guards monitored incoming carriages and nighttime activities.
