Villa Arnaga

Villa Arnaga is a residence built in Neo-Basque style in Cambo-les-Bains, designed by architect Albert Tournaire in 1906. The building combines traditional regional features with French design elements, creating a distinctive blend of both architectural traditions.

The house was built for a French playwright whose works were performed worldwide and remain known today. After his death in 1918, the villa changed hands several times before eventually becoming municipal property.

The grounds are best explored on foot, allowing time for both areas: the interior of the house and the gardens outside. Visitors should note that the house is currently closed for renovations and is expected to reopen in April 2025.
