Château d'Azy, Historic castle in Saint-Benin-d'Azy, France.
The castle features a rectangular main building with four octagonal towers and a horseshoe tower, positioned on a wooded hill overlooking the village.
Built in 1847 under architect Pierre-Felix Delarue's direction, the castle was commissioned by Count Denis Benoist d'Azy, who served as deputy of Nievre.
The western facade displays carved medallions representing Count Benoist d'Azy's interests, while industrial decorative details appear on the large bay windows.
Located 20 kilometers east of Nevers, the castle can accommodate up to 66 guests and is accessible via departmental roads D978 and D172.
The castle maintains its original family portraits on the walls and wooden floors that still bear marks from numerous gatherings throughout the centuries.
