Built in 1661 by the Peyre family, Marquis de Châteauneuf, this residence underwent modifications in the 18th century with the addition of an enclosed garden and decorations.
The villa represents the architectural preferences of Nice nobility during the 17th century, following the typical layout patterns of Genoese villas of that period.
