Château de Nazelles, Heritage castle in Caudecoste, France.

The castle structure includes a central building with pavilions, featuring Doric pilasters and a circular pediment at the main entrance point.

Jean Charles du Cauzé de Nazelle initiated the construction of this castle at the end of the 17th century, adding a southern wing in 1825.

The castle incorporates classical French architectural elements, including arcades supported by fluted pilasters adorned with Corinthian capitals in the vestibule.

The facades, roofs, dovecote, and main avenue of the castle received protection status as historical monuments on March 24, 1997.

Jeanne Debat-Ponsan, among the first female physicians in France, inherited the castle from her father, painter Édouard Debat-Ponsan.
